Eureka Events was born from two families, two cultures, and one shared belief: that every celebration deserves genuine warmth, not just entertainment.

How Eureka Was Created

From a backyard birthday to a growing family of hosts

Eureka's first hosted birthday party, early days

Eureka Events started small — a single birthday party, a borrowed speaker, and a costume sewn together the night before. What we didn't expect was how much that first celebration would change us. Watching a room full of kids and parents light up together, in two languages, at the same time, felt like something worth building on.

What began as one bilingual host became a small team of performers, animators, and party coordinators, all sharing the same conviction: that a party isn't just decorations and a piñata — it's the one afternoon a family gets to stop, gather, and really be together.

Today, Eureka Events hosts hundreds of celebrations a year across New York and New Jersey, but the instinct is the same one we started with — show up like it's our own family's party, every single time.

Colombian + Ecuadorian roots

Eureka Events was founded by a Colombian and Ecuadorian family who grew up surrounded by music, food, and celebrations that lasted long after the cake was gone. That upbringing shapes everything we do — the warmth we bring into a room, the way we treat every guest like family, and the bilingual energy that lets grandparents and toddlers celebrate side by side, each in the language that feels like home.

Why we chose New York

New York and New Jersey are home to one of the largest, most vibrant Latino communities in the country — and we saw a gap. Families wanted entertainment that felt personal, bilingual, and genuinely warm, not a generic script read off a card. Orange County, Sullivan County, New York City, and New Jersey became our home base because these are the communities that welcomed us first, and we've been showing up for them ever since.

Our hosts grew up switching between English and Spanish mid-sentence. That's not a skill we trained — it's how we actually talk, which is why it never feels forced.

Every host is a real performer

No temp staff reading from a script. Our team trains together, rehearses together, and genuinely loves this work.

We handle the chaos, not just the fun

Piñata logistics, crowd flow, timing the cake — we manage the moving parts so parents can actually enjoy their own party.
